UN Peacekeepers

UN Peacekeepers
My questions are:
What is the purpose of the UN Peacekeepers?
Why did they create the UN peacekeepers?
Where do the UN peacekeepers serve?
How do they do their jobs?

The UN peacekeepers help restore villages or cities. They do this by getting professionals to clear the area from mines or bombs. Then they will check for any civilians around the area. They will send them into somewhere safe.

After that the builders will come then they will build homes and a police station, courthouse and a prison. After that has finished they send the civilians back. They will give them jobs. If the people chose police, UN Peacekeepers will train them to help them to find criminals. The UN Peacekeepers started in 1945 after World War 2. They started it because they didn’t want another war to start. They wanted the peace to stay around the world.

They also do it for security, stability, justice and human rights. There are 110,000+ who serve and risk their lives to keep the peace around the world.
